A.2 HPM Jumpers
Table A–2 lists hierarchical switch power manager (HPM) jumpers and
their functions. The HPM module has three 2-position jumpers, none of
which are normally installed.
Table A–2 HPM Jumpers
Jumper Function, When Installed
J2 Flash_Write_Inhibit. Prevents the hardware from writing to
flash memory.
J3 Force_FSL. Causes the firmware to remain in the fail-safe
loader code after HPM reset.
J4 HS_CSB_ID0. Sets ID0 of the microprocessor’s CSB address
field to a 1.
A.3 Standard I/O Module Jumpers
Table A–3 lists standard I/O module jumpers and their functions. The
jumper station is three-pronged and the installed position is indicated
by a silkscreen connection.
