Jumpering Information
This appendix contains jumpering information for the PCI backplane, the
hierarchical switch power manager (HPM), and the standard I/O module.
A.1 PCI Backplane Jumpers
Table A–1 lists PCI backplane jumpers and their functions. These two
jumpers are not normally installed.

Jumper Function
J60 If flash ROM is corrupt, installing this jumper will force the PCI
backplane manager (PBM) into fail-safe loader mode. The
jumper station is three-pronged and the installed position is
indicated by a silkscreen connection.
