7.4 Setting SRM Console Security
You can set the SRM console to secure mode to prevent unauthorized
personnel
from modifying the system parameters or otherwise
tampering with the system from the console.
When the SRM is set to secure mode, you can use only two console commands:
• The boot command, to boot the operating system
• The continue command, to resume running the operating system if you
have inadvertently halted the system
The console security commands are as follows:
set password
set secure These commands put the console into secure mode.
clear
password Exits secure mode.
login Turns off console security for the current session.
