Installation of Gravity Anchors
Typically gravity anchors are used for two
reasons.
1. To hold one window up off another
window to allow for thermal
expansion. (Not usually used for
vertical bays less than 10 feet tall.)
2. To hold the weight of the upper
window off the lower window to keep
the head from bowing or twisting.

Field drill clear hole in
mullion.
Hole for anchorage
