Using Video Phone
Answering a Call
You can answer an incoming call on any telephone in the house and then
pick up the call using your computer.

When your telephone rings:
If you’re at your computer:

Open the Communication Center.
□
Click the ANSWER button to answer the telephone.
If you're not at your computer:

Answer by picking up any phone in the house. The caller will
inform you that video will be sent.
□
Leave the receiver off the hook.
□
Go to your computer and start the Communication Center.
□
Click the ANSWER button in the Communication Center to
resume the call.
□
Hang up the other phone before continuing.

After one party clicks the VIDEO PHONE button, the other party will
see a dialog box and will click Accept.
Audio Privacy
You may find times during a video call when you want temporary
privacy.
□
To mute audio, click the MUTE button in the Communication Center.
Ending a Call

To end a video session and return to a voice call, click Stop Video in
Video Phone.
□
Click Hangup when you’d like to end the voice call.
□
To end a call (both voice and video), click the HANGUP button in the
Communication Center. This automatically closes Video Phone. Now
you can leave the Communication Center open for the next call.
