The standard outlet is together with the front pipe and the catalytic converter, and the stock design hinders
exhaust flow. The design of the factory standard model restricts the performance potential of the engine to
suit emission standards. Especially at higher engine speeds with high boost, the turbine suffers from
restricted exhaust flow which will cause problems with controlling boost levels. With properly designed
headers and exhaust piping, more potential can be extracted from the engine with a larger metal catalytic
converter. Boost conditions will remain stable and controllable, the Turbine will also deliver good response.
As with the TOMEI outlet pipe design a larger diameter design with smooth internal design to maximize
exhaust flow and not cause any performance restrictions.
An aftermarket ECU is required to optimize the setup of your engine with the new setup.

With the increase of horse power, the increase in combustion temperatures and this will be a risk of the
plugs from melting. The recommended plug heat range of 8-9 is suitable.
