SR20用大容量オイルパンは、レーシングエンジン開発におけるノウハウから、オイルの偏りを防止
するスイングプレートを装備し、600ccの大容量化を実現しました。

This new larger oil pan for the SR20 has been designed with swing back plates. These help
control the oil from moving away from the oil strainer pickup and prevent engine failure. We
have developed and tested this on our race car in real racing conditions. Our results have
shown that the extra 600cc is just what is needed to keep the engine safe from failure.
