SR20エンジンを競技などで使用する場合、標準のオイルフィルターブラケットは強度不足による取付
部の破損からオイルフィルターが脱落し、エンジンを破損するといったトラブルを招きます。
TOMEI N2オイルブロックは重量物となるオイルフィルターをエンジン本体から離して設置することを
前提に、振動・高温といった過酷な条件を考慮し設計された競技専用品です。

When the SR20 engine is used in competition use, the stock oil filter bracket is not
strong enough to provide adequate support in those conditions. This causes the oil filter
to break off which leads to terminal engine failure. The TOMEI N2 block is designed as a
thicker billet plate, that allows the oil filter to be relocated. This adds the required strength
for competition conditions, and relieves the engine of the stress factor from the oil filter.
