NOTE:
You cannot fax with a DSL (digital subscriber line) or ISDN (integrated
signature digital network) unless you purchase a digital line filter. Contact your
Internet Service Provider for more details.
If you are using the Dell Printer Fax tools to send a fax from within an application, the printer must be
connected to a computer with a USB cable.

Use the keypad to enter the number to which you want to send a fax. The number
displays in the window.
NOTE:
This window is also used to enter a broadcast fax which allows a single fax to be
sent to multiple recipients in a single operation.
Phonebook
Press Select
to enter the Phonebook menu. For more information, see Phonebook
Menu .
Redial History
Press Select
to view the redial history. The last five numbers dialed are displayed on
the screen.
On Hook Dial
Press Select
to enter On Hook Dial mode.
Delay Sending
Fax
Press Select
to view the Delay Sending Fax screen. On this screen, use the keypad
to specify the time you want the fax to be sent.
Auto Answer

to enter the Auto Answer Schedule menu. For

Phonebook Menu
The Phonebook menu is accessed by selecting Phonebook from the Fax Options menu. You can also
access this menu by selecting Speed Dial Phonebook from the Fax Setup menu.
You can specify up to 99 speed dial numbers - 89 individual fax speed dial numbers and 10 group speed
dial entries of up to 30 numbers each.
