MENU INDEX FOR INITIAL SETUP
Operation Interface and General Steps
This section introduces the operation interface and general steps of the system setup.
Press [SETUP] button to enter system setup mode. Then the TV screen displays the system setup
control menu, which is shown in the following:
If the system displays , it means the
system setup mode cannot be entered in
current mode, so please exit this mode first.
Definitions the icons are as follows:
1 General setup
2 Playback setup
3 Record setup
4 Language setup
5 Channel Scan
6 Date, Time setup
Select the desired item on the control bar by using [ ], [ ] buttons, and then press [ENTER]
button to enter the corresponding setup submenu.
In the submenu, operate the relative controllers by direct buttons and the [ENTER] button to
fulfill the corresponding setup.
Press the [RETURN] button to return to the previous menu, or press the [SETUP] button to exit.
The steps above are for your reference. Some setup may not need a certain step, or need more steps.
Please proceed the system setup in “stop” mode or no disc status, otherwise certain setup may not be
proceeded.
General setup
Enter the system setup mode.
Select the item “ ” in the system setup
control menu by [ ], [ ] buttons.
Press [ENTER] button to enter the general
setup submenu, which is shown as the right
figure.
Screen Saver Setup
The screen saver function appears on the screen
automatically, when video output signal has no change
(that is the image on the TV screen has no change) for a
awhile.
In the general setup menu, move the cursor to select
item “Screen saver” by [ ], [ ] buttons.
Press [ ENTER ] button, then a pop-up list will
be displayed, which is shown as the right figure.
