1.3.5 Peristaltic pump
The peristaltic pump of the 838 Advanced Sample Processor can be
used as a single-channel or two-channel pump. One or two tubing car-
tridges 6.2755.000 may be fitted.

The magnet sensor for detecting the individ-
ual rack codes is mounted beneath the turn-
table of the Advanced Sample Processor.
The magnetic code of a rack can be read
only if the rack is in initial position, i.e. if the
magnet holder is precisely above the sensor.
For this reason, the Sample Processor
should be switched off and back on again
with each rack change.
