6.2 File management
Menu ▶ System ▶ File management
Note
This menu item is visible only when a USB stick has been connected as
an external storage medium.
Methods can be imported and deleted from a USB stick in this dialog.
Only methods located in the Files directory are displayed in the list (see
"Directory structure on the USB stick", page 47).
A backup can be made of the system (all data and settings). Similarly, an
existing backup can be reloaded.
Import
Import the selected method.
Delete
Delete the selected method.
Backup
Create a backup of all data and settings on the USB stick.
Note
Only one backup can be created on the same USB stick.
If a backup has already been stored on the stick, then it will be over-
written when this function is carried out again.
Restore
Load the backup from a connected USB stick.
Directory structure on the USB stick
A directory with the instrument number is generated on the USB stick. The
structure within the directory appears as follows:
Backup All of the files of the backup are stored in this
directory. The directory will be created the first
time a backup is created.
