Conventions Used
in this Manual
The following conventions are used throughout this manual:

Bulleted lists provide information, not procedural steps.
•
Numbered lists provide sequential steps or hierarchical information.
•
Italic type is used for chapter names.
•
Bold type is used for names of dialog boxes, dialog box fields, menus,
menu options, and buttons.
•
When RSLinx is referred to in this manual, you may use either the RSLinx
Lite (version 1.7) shipped with DriveTools32 or RSLinx (version 1.7).
Important: This type of paragraph contains tips or notes that have been added to
call attention to useful information.
