p. Rotate latch (Q) with a 15/16 wrench (or
equivalent) on hex (T) to raise feed deck so that
bolt (P) can be re-installed. Repeat for other side
of feed deck.
q. Attach the wing float linkage to the adapter as
follows:
1. Remove pin (U) from bracket (if installed).
2. Re-install pin with springs (V), and secure
with hairpin.
r. Connect knife and draper drive hydraulics as
shown above, matching colored plastic cable ties.
s. If quick disconnects are installed, connect as
follows:
1.
Remove covers (if installed) from
receptacles and hose ends.
2. Check connectors and clean if required.
3. Push hose connector onto mating receptacle
until collar on receptacle snaps into lock
position.
NOTE
Ensure hoses are clear of driveline and
adjacent structure.
t. Attach
electrical
connector as follows:
1. Remove cover on receptacle.
2. Align lugs on connector with slots in
receptacle, push connector onto receptacle
and turn collar on connector to lock it in
place.
3. Attach cover to mating cover on combine
wiring harness.
u. Raise and lower header and reel a few times to
allow trapped air to pass back to the reservoir.
NOTE
It is not necessary to bleed the system
by loosening fittings.
v. Check float and if the header is level. If
adjustments are required, refer to Section 9.11.3
Header Float, and Section 9.14 HEADER
