The pumping cylinder (Figure 6) is forcing the material past
ball B and out to the nozzle, also
seating ball A so that the
material will not flow back to the hopper. This action also
fills the slave cylinder for the next stroke.
NOTE
The slave piston will not move until
enough pressure is developed to
produce a steady rate of flow.
