4.3 Initial Settings
Before locating the target site, you must do the following on the Angle Two software:

Select the tilt direction

Zero the tilt and rotation angles

Enter any probe offsets

Enter the locations of the reference points bregma and lambda

Tilt Direction
After aligning the instrument, click ll To ML or ll To AP to indicate the primary plane of the tilt as
either in the ML or AP direction (see “Tilt” on page 17).
Zero Rotation and Tilt
After aligning the instrument and entering the tilt direction, the software’s tilt and rotation values
must be zeroed. Click Setup and Zero Angles in the Set Up dialog, check both angles read 0.00°.
