1. Technical
Safety
The individual components of the ETS 3000 Electronic Temperature Sensor and the
assembled unit are subject to strict quality assurance. Each ETS 3000 undergoes a final test.
This ensures that when supplied the sensor is free of defects and complies with the
designated specifications.
The series ETS 3000 electronic temperature sensors are maintenance-free and operate
perfectly when used under the conditions specified. If, however, you do encounter problems,
please contact your HYDAC representative. Any tampering with the sensor will invalidate all
warranty claims.
Compliance with European Standards
The ETS 3000 series electronic temperature sensors feature the
mark and thus comply
with all the German approval requirements and the European standards currently applicable
for operating these units. As a consequence, compliance with the current regulations on
electromagnetic compatibility and the safety provisions of the Low-Voltage Directive is
ensured.
This product complies with the provisions of the following European standards:
EN 61000–6–1 / 2 / 3 / 4

General Safety Information
The ETS 3000 series electronic temperature sensor presents no safety risk provided it is
used in accordance with its proper, designated use. However, in order to avoid any risk to
the operator or any damage due to incorrect handling of the unit, please adhere strictly to the
following safety instructions:
• The ETS 3000 must not be put into service if any known defects, either electrical or
mechanical, are apparent.
• The instructions for use must be strictly adhered to.
• Read the specifications on the rating plate.
• Troubleshooting and repair work may only be carried out by HYDAC’s Service
Department.
• All relevant and generally recognized safety requirements must be adhered to.
