The MSC module can be powered by either Power over Ethernet (PoE IEEE 802.3af) or by this
48V Power Supply kit. This optional 48V Power Supply kit is available to power the Mosaic Show
Controller (MSC) module when it is installed inside the Rack Mount kit.
NOTE: Mosaic Remote Devices can not be powered by this 48V Power Supply. Instead, they
must be powered by PoE. Follow the instructions provided with the Remote Devices.
The 48V Power Supply kit includes the following:
• 48V Din-rail mount Power Supply
• 1 Din-rail ground terminal
• 1 Din-rail clamp
• Power pigtail with three pin connector
• Ground wire (green/yellow)

48V Power Supply Kit Install 48V Power Supply Kit
Step 1: Snap the 48V power supply on the din-rail (rear side of the panel).
Step 2: Secure the power supply in place using the din-rail ground terminal and din-rail clamp provided.
a. Snap the ground terminal onto the din-rail (right side of the power supply) and secure in place
using the middle screw head.
b. Snap the clamp onto the din-rail (left side of the power supply) and secure in place.
Step 3: Route the ground wire (green/yellow) through the rack opening, and terminate it to the available input
on the din-rail ground terminal located next to the Mosaic Controller.
Step 4: Route the power pigtail through the rack opening and plug it into the input power receptacle
(labeled “9-48V DC) located on the bottom right side of the Mosaic Controller.
Step 5: Plug the IEC connector into a power outlet to power the unit. Reference the Mosaic Show Controller
documentation for operation instructions.
