6.5.2 O PERATING THE MACHINE FROM THE EMERGENCY CONTROL POSITION ON THE GROUND IF THE
OPERATOR IS TAKEN ILL
This emergency descent function can be used only if the operator in the basket is taken ill
with consequent impossibility to perform ordinary movements and the emergency descent
of the basket.
For controls relative to the control panel in the emergency position, refer to paragraph Emer‑
gency position controls.
‑ Withdraw the key enabling the emergency descent and a key opening the distributor
controls’ protection, if any, from the engine keys group inside the electrical components
compartment.
‑ Insert the key and open the distributor controls’ protection, if
any, to access the controls.
‑ Insert the enabling key in the emergency position control
panel.
The sole purpose of the emergency descent from the ground is compensate for a break‑
down of the plants and to bring the basket to the ground, all other uses are prohibited.
