1. Open the gold coloured First Emergency
Manual Lower Valve on the Top of the
manifold valve to lower platform and
retract the booms (see Figure 9.5).
NOTE:
2. Only when the booms are fully retracted
should you open the black coloured Second
Emergency Lower Valve on the Bottom
of the manifold valve to complete lowering of
the platform.
NOTE:
To operate the slew function from the ground
control box when using the emergency lowering
valve the Master Key Switch, and Emergency
Stop Switch must be on and the
Platform/Ground Selector must be set to
ground. The slew direction can then be selected
using the slew switch (see Figure 9.1). The
slew function will only operate while the booms
are lowering.
