Install the following in one of the setting PCs to set the AirStation.
• LAN Board Driver............................................ Refer to the following "Installation of LAN Board (for set-
ting PC)".
• AirStation Manager .......................................... Refer to the "Installing the AirStation Manager (for setting
PC)" (page 38).
• TCP/IP Protocol .................................................... Refer to the "TCP/IP Protocol Setting (Setting PC)" (page 31).
• Web Browser (Internet Explorer 4.0 or later,
or Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later)...................................Refer to the relevant Web browser manual. Microsoft Internet
Explorer is installed as standard on Windows 2000.
Refer to the LAN board manual when installing the LAN board.
When using the WLI-ISA-OP or WLI-PCI-OP
Before installing the Wireless LAN Card (WLI-PCM-L11 etc.), install the WLI-ISA-OP or WLI-PCI-
OP (hereinafter called the Adapter) and the bus adapter driver. Refer to the attached Bus Adapter
Manual for the installation procedure.When using the WLI-PCI-OP adapter, the WLI-PCI Driver
Disk is required.
The procedure for setting the proper TCP/IP protocol is depending on the OS used in the PC. Please refer to
the following for setting properly.
Windows 2000:

Windows NT 4.0: Refer to Windows NT 4.0 (Page 35 ).

The TCP/IP protocol is set as follows.

Start Windows 2000 and log on to your logon name (e.g., Administrator) with
administrator access.

Click the Start button, then select Settings, Network and Dial-up Connec-
tions.

Double-click the Local Area Connection icon.
