Importing, recording and editing videos
Importing videos and saving them as video data in the
computer
1. Check that the external device is connected to the computer.
2. Activate WinDVR.
[Start] -> [All Programs ] -> [InterVideo WinDVD Creator] ->
Click [InterVideo WinDVD Creator] to activate.
3. Select [TOSHIBA PCI TV Tuner Composite] at [Input Source].
4. Specify the location to save the video to be recorded (imported).
5. The default saving location is at [My Videos] of [My Document]. To save
to another location, specify the desired location. Click the [Finish]
button.
The imported video is displayed on the computer.
6. Click the Record button on the Control Panel and Importing of video to
the computer begins.
7. After the video is imported, click the [Stop] button.
8. Save the imported video under a new file name.
Importing videos as video data in the computer, editing
them and saving on DVD
1. Check that the external device is connected to the computer.
2. Activate WinDVD Creator 2 Platinum.
[Start] -> [All Programs] -> [ InterVideo WinDVD Creator] ->
Click [InterVideo WinDVD Creator] to activate.
3. Click the [Create CD/DVD with existing video file] button.
4. Use the following steps to select the video file to be used.
(1) Specify the location to save the file.
(2) Select the file.
To select multiple files, hold down [Ctrl] key and click on the desired
files.
5. Click the [open] button.
Video files are imported and the Storyboard appears.
6. Drag and drop the video files (clips) displayed in the Storyboard and
arrange them in the order to be burned.
7. Click [Author].
This switches to the Authoring screen.
8. Click the [Author Preview] button.
9. Confirm the operation on the Preview screen.
This switches to the screen where the created DVD menu can be
checked. Use the remote control on the right of the screen to confirm
the operation.
To close this screen, click the top right button.
10. Set the DVD in the optical media drive.
11. Click [Make Movie].
