Password
If you forgot your password, you can use your password service diskette
to start the computer. If you did not make a password service diskette or
if it doesn't work, see your dealer.

Hotkeys
Refer to Chapter 5, The Keyboard, for information on using hotkeys.
Make sure the operation is correct and try a few hotkey combinations.

Hotkeys do not work
If you are using an external keyboard, make
sure the External Keyboard
Fn
key is set to the
combination you are using.
Make sure the key combination you are trying
to use is enabled in the Toshiba Services utility.
Refer to Chapter 7, Toshiba Utilities and Drivers.
If you are still unable to use the hotkeys, consult
your dealer.
Keyboard
Keyboard problems can be caused by your setup configuration. For more
information refer to Chapter 5, The Keyboard, and Chapter 8, Setup and
Password Security.

Some letter keys
produce numbers
Check that the numeric keypad overlay is not
selected. Press
Fn
+
F10
and try typing again.
Output to screen is
garbled
Make sure the software you are using is not
remapping the keyboard. Remapping involves
reassigning the meaning of each key. See your
software’s documentation.
If you are still unable to use the keyboard,
consult your dealer.
