Power on Boot Select
When this option is enabled, you can change the boot drive during start
up. The following message will appear for one or two seconds
Press
[F2] for the boot drive selection menu
.
The message does not appear when you use the Supervisor’s password
to start the computer.
To change the boot drive, follow the steps below.
1. Press
F2
while the above message is on the screen.
2. The following menu will be displayed:
Select boot device
[C]:
CD-ROM
[F]:
FDD
[B]: Built-in HDD
[D]: Default SYSTEM SETUP Device
Press [C], [F], [B] or [D]
Press the key (
C
,
F
,
B
or
D
) corresponding to the desired device.
The selection method above does not change the boot priority settings
in Hardware Setup or TSETUP.
If you press a key other than one of those above or if the selected device
is not installed, the system will boot according to the current setting in
Hardware Setup or TSETUP.
Display
This group of options lets you configure the computer’s display. Refer to
Hardware Setup for details on the settings.
Power On Display
This option is used to select the display when booting up. For details on
the settings, refer to Hardware Setup.
LCD Display Stretch
This option is used to enable or disable the text mode stretch. For details
on the settings, refer to Hardware Setup.
TV Config.
This option is used to select the type of TV. For details on the settings,
refer to Hardware Setup. It appears only on computers configured with
DVD drives.
