iPod/iPhone/iPad playback

Supported iPod/iPhone/iPad models:

‡ This system has been developed and tested
for the software version of iPod/iPhone/iPad
indicated on the website of Pioneer (http://
pioneer.jp/homeav/support/ios/eu/
).
‡ Installing software versions other than
indicated on the website of Pioneer to
your iPod/iPhone/iPad may result in
incompatibility with this system.
‡ :KHQXVLQJDQL3RGL3KRQHL3DGQRW
supported by this unit, use a commercially
available cable to connect the iPod/iPhone/
iPad to the PORTABLE IN connector of this
unit.
‡ Before connecting the iPod/iPhone/iPad,
turn this unit off and reduce the volume of
this unit to its minimum.
Connect an iPod/iPhone/iPad
Use the USB cable supplied with your iPod/
iPhone/iPad. Connect it to the unit's front USB.
Caution
‡ The USB port on the rear of the unit does not
support iPod/iPhone/iPad.
Please connect these devices to the USB port on
the front of the unit.
Note
‡ Some functions may be restricted depending on
the model or software version.
‡ iPod/iPhone/iPad is licensed for reproduction of
non-copyrighted materials or materials the user is
legally permitted to reproduce.
‡ Features such as the equalizer cannot be controlled
using this system, and we recommend switching
the equalizer off before connecting.
‡ Pioneer cannot under any circumstances accept
responsibility for any direct or indirect loss arising
from any inconvenience or loss of recorded
material resulting from iPod/iPhone/iPad failure.
‡ Your iPod/iPhone/iPad will not be charged when
the unit power is turned off.
‡ For detailed instructions on using the iPod/iPhone/
iPad, please refer to the manual supplied with the
iPod/iPhone/iPad.
