[Authentication
Method] Select the authentication method used for logging on to
the LDAP server.
If [Anonymous] is selected, a user name and password
are not necessary.
If [Simple] is selected, a user name and password are
necessary.
If [Digest-MD5] is selected, use with a general LDAP
server. This cannot be used with Active Directory.
If [GSS-SPNEGO] is selected, use with Active Directory in
Windows.
If [NTLMv2] is selected, use NTLM authentication in Win-
dows.
Choices:[Anonymous], [Simple], [Digest-MD5],
[GSS-SPNEGO], [NTLMv2]
Default: [Anonymous]

If “GSS-SPNEGO” is used, the address of the
LDAP server to be used must be specified in the
[System] - [Date/Time] - [Time Adjustment
Settings] - [NTP Server Address] page, and the
time on this machine and the LDAP server must be
the same.
[LDAP Account] Specify the account used to connect to the LDAP server.
Range:Up to 64 characters
Default:[anonymous]
