6.4.2 Connecting via a Network Hub, Switch, or Router
You can connect the Ethernet port of the VP-885 to the Ethernet port on a
network hub, switch, or router, via a straight-through cable with RJ-45
connectors. The VP-885 Ethernet port has to be configured to be compatible
with your network (see Section 6.4.3 ).
6.4.3 Configuring the Ethernet Port on the VP-885

To configure the VP-885 Ethernet port:

Ethernet port of the VP-885. The software must be downloaded to your PC,
the files extracted to a folder, and the software installed. Once the software
has been installed, you can configure the Ethernet port on the VP-885.
1. Click Start > All Programs > Kramer > P3K Wizard
The P3K Wizard window appears.
2. Click Connect.
The Connect window appears.

3. Select one of the following methods to connect to the Ethernet port of the
VP-885:

Ethernet, if you are connected via an Ethernet cable. Enter the IP
