Raise the suction opening by adjusting
the rollers.
Î
Remove the fastening screws (1) of the
sealing strip.
Î
Remove the stabilising plate.
Î
Insert the new sealing strip and fasten it
with screws along with the stabilising
plate.
Note
The sealing strip must be at the top
throughout the length of the intake.
Î
Adjust suction opening.
– At the rear of the suction opening, the
sealing strip must have a ground clear-
ance of 18 mm.
Adjusting the sealing strip:
Î
Drain off the suction opening.
Î
Loosen the fastening screws (1) of the
sealing strip.
Î
Adjust the sealing strip in such a way
that it touches the floor when the bulk
waste flap is closed.
Î
Fasten the sealing strip.
Replacing the sealing strip:
Î
Remove the fastening screws (1) of the
sealing strip.
Î
Remove the stabilising plate (2).
Î
Insert the new sealing strip and fasten it
with screws along with the stabilising
plate.
Î
Adjust the sealing strip.
Î
Raise waste container.
Î
Remove the fastening screws (1) - (6)
of the holder plate.
Î
Remove holder plate and washer.
Î
Clean the sealing area.
Î
Fasten the new washer using the holder
plate.
Î
Unscrew the head lamps.
Î
Take out the head lamps and pull out
the plug.
Note
Note the positions of the plugs.
Î
Dismantle the head lamps.
Î
Dismantle the head lamp casing and
hold it horizontally because the lamp
unit is not fastened.
Î
Unlock the bracked and take out the
bulb.
Î
Insert new bulb.
Î
Reinstall in reverse sequence.
Fuses/ relays at the rear of the vehicle
1 Electrical ventilator relay
2 Pre-heating relay (only diesel applianc-
es)
3 Fuse for electrical ventilator
4 Fuse for ignition coil and preliminary
heating (only diesel appliances)
Fuse box below the steering wheel in the
fixtures panel

Replace defective fuses.
Note
Only use fuses with identical safety ratings.
Adjust / replace sealing strip of bulk
waste flap
Changing the washer of the waste con-
tainer
Changing the headlight bulb
Replacing fuses
