Remove the oil filter from the oil filter
housing.

Î

Replace oil filter if required.

Î

Refill hydraulic oil.

Oil grade: see Technical Data

Î

Check all hydraulic hoses and connec-
tions and ensure that they are leak-
proof.

Only Kärcher Customer Service is author-
ised to carry out maintenance tasks on the
hydraulic unit.

Danger

Danger of scalding by boiling water! Let the
cooler cool down for at least 20 minutes.
Î

Raise waste container.

Î

Pull out the securing splint on the waste
container.

Î

Release the left and right safety sup-
ports and secure with splint.

Î

Fill in cold water in the cooling water
compensation tank.

– If the motor is cold: Cooling water status

above the lower marking.

– If the motor is warm: Cooling water sta-

tus below the upper marking.

– The percentage of anti-frost agent in the

cooling water should not be more than
50%.

Risk of explosion!
Do not carry out maintenance tasks in

closed rooms.

Smoking and naked flames are strictly

prohibited.

Switch off engine.

Î

Raise waste container.

Î

Pull out the securing splint on the waste
container.

Î

Release the left and right safety sup-
ports and secure with splint.

Î

Unscrew the motor cover.

Only diesel appliance

Î

Close the fuel supply.

Î

Unscrew the fuel filter.

Î

Loosen covering nut and remove fuel fil-
ter along with the contents.

Î

Clean or replace fuel filter.

Î

Replace washer.

Î

Clean fuel filter casing.

Î

Replace washer.

Î

Tighten covering nut firmly.

Î

Fit the fuel filter again.

Only petrol device

Î

Close the fuel supply.

Î

Loosen the hose clips at the connection
nozzle of the fuel filter.

Î

Remove the fuel filter.

Î

Install a new fuel filter (check direction
of flow).

Î

Insert the new fuel filter in the connec-
tion hoses and fasten the hose clips.

General testing:
Î

Check fuel tubes and clamps for dam-
ages and make sure they are leak-
proof.

Î

Open the fuel supply.

Î

Deaerate the fuel system (only diesel
appliance):

Î

Raise waste container.

Î

Pull out the securing splint on the waste
container.

Î

Release the left and right safety sup-
ports and secure with splint.

Î

Unscrew the motor cover.

Î

Loosen the deaeration screws 1 and 2
by approx. 2 rotations.

Î

Keep a suitable catch bin ready.

Check hydraulic unit

Check water cooler and maintain it.

Clean and replace fuel filter

Deaerate the fuel system (only diesel ap-
pliance)
