For some bulk waste parts you may
have to briefly pull the lever totally to-
wards the rear.
Î
Lock in the lever at pos. 1 for medium-
size waste (such as leaves).
Î
Lock in the lever at pos. 2 for big size
waste (such as cans).
Note
Sand and stone chippings will not get
sucked in when the bulk waste flap is
raised.
To avoid deposits in the suction channel
and durst formation, the water supply to the
brush nozzles must be on.
Î
Switch on the spray water.
Î
Regulate the water quantity.
Switch off the water supply to the brush
nozzles if there is practically no dust forma-
tion.

Switch-off spray water.

Risk of injury! While reversing, ensure that
there is nobody in the way, ask them to
move if somebody is around.

Danger of tipping. Place the machine on an
even surface during emptying.

Raise the suction opening and the side-
brushes.

There is a warning sound signal when the
waste container is raised.

You need the attachment set 2.639-500 to
manually empty the waste container.

During pumping, press the control lever
for "Raise/lower waste container" in
"Raise" position and keep it depressed.

Switch off suction blower.

Switch off the spray water for side-
brushes and suction opening.

Raise the suction opening and the side-
brushes.

Push in the engine speed adjustment
completely,

Turn ignition key to "0" and remove it.

The appliance must be secured against
slippage during transport.

Secure the appliance at the transport
eyelets using tension belts, ropes or
chains.
Î
Secure the wheels of the machine with
wheel chocks.
If the sweeper is going to be out of service
for a longer time period, observe the follow-
ing points:

Park the sweeper on an even surface.
Î
Raise the side-brushes to prevent the
bristles from being damaged.
Î
Turn ignition key to "0" and remove it.
Î
Secure sweeper to prevent it rolling
away, lock parking brake.
Î
Fill fuel tank and close fuel cock.
Î
Change the engine oil and the oil filter.
Î
Drain off the cooling water if frost is ex-
pected and check whether there is ade-
quate anti-frosting agent.
Î
Empty the water tank and the pipe sys-
tem.
Î
Disconnect battery.
Î
Charge battery approx. every 2 months.
Î
Clean the inside and outside of the
sweeper.
Î
Park the machine in a safe and dry
place.
Î
First switch off the appliance and re-
move the ignition key before performing
any cleaning or maintenance tasks on
the appliance, replacing parts or switch-
ing over to another function.
Î
Pull out the battery plug or clamp the
battery while working on the electrical
unit.
– Maintenance work may only be carried
out by approved customer service out-
lets or experts in this field who are famil-
iar with the respective safety
regulations.
– Mobile appliances used for commercial
purposes aer subject to safety inspec-
tions according to VDE 0701.
