Charge the battery only with an appropriate
charger.
Î Connect positive terminal cable from
the charger to the positive pole connec-
tion on the battery.
Î Connect negative terminal cable from
the charger to the negative pole con-
nection on the battery.
Î Plug in mains connector and switch on
charger.
Î Charge battery using lowest possible
level of charging current.
Note
When the battery is charged, first remove
the charger from the mains and then dis-
connect it from the battery.

Allow engine to cool down.
Î Wait for at least 5 minutes after switch-
ing off the engine before checking the
engine oil fill level.
Î Raise waste container.
Î Pull out the securing splint on the waste
container.
Î Release the left and right safety sup-
ports and secure with splint.
Î Unscrew the motor cover.
Î Pull out oil dipstick.
Î Wipe off oil dipstick and insert.
Î Pull out oil dipstick.
Î Read the value of the oil level.
Î Insert the oil dip again.
– The oil level must lie between “MIN“ and
“MAX“ marking.
– Add motor oil if the oil level is below the
"MIN" marking.
– Do not fill oil above the "MAX" marking.
Î Loosen the screw cap of the oil filling
opening.
Î Fill in motor oil.
Oil grade: see Technical Data

Close oil filler opening.
Î Wait at least 5 minutes.
Î Check engine oil level.

Ready a catch bin for appr. 4 litre oil.
Î Allow engine to cool down.
Î Unscrew oil drain plug.
Î Loosen the screw cap of the oil filling
opening.
Î Drain off oil.
Î Unscrew the right side-panelling.
Î Unscrew the oil filter.
Î Clean the intake and sealing areas.
Î Coat the washer of the new oil filter with
oil before fitting it.
Î Fit in the new oil filter and tighten it by
hand.
Î Screw in the oil drain screw along with
the new washer.
Note
Tighten the oil drain screw using a torque
wrench to 25 Nm.

Fill in motor oil.

Close oil filler opening.
Î Let the motor run for approx. 10 sec-
onds.
Î Check engine oil level.
Î Unscrew the left side-panelling.
Î Lock parking brake.
Î Engine speed adjustment - pull out 1/3
Î Start the motor.
Î Check dirt indicator of hydraulic oil filter
when the oil is warm.
Î Replace filter element if the indicator
has reached the red mark.
Î Check hydraulic oil level in the looking
glass.
– The oil level must lie between “MIN“ and
“MAX“ marking.
– Add hydraulic oil if the oil level is below
the "MIN" marking.
Î Clean the filling area.
Î Loosen the screw cap of the oil filling
opening.
Î Pull out the oil filter along with the oil fil-
ter housing.
Check engine oil level and top up, if re-
quired
Change the motor oil and the oil filter.
Check dirt indicator of hydraulic filter.
Check hydraulic oil level and refill hy-
draulic oil
