Testing
TEST OPTIONS
Selecting 2=TEST from the Main menu tree displays available local testing op-
tions. Use the following menu path to select test options:
2=Test
1=Loopback DTE
2=Loopback Proto
3=2047 Checker
4=NEBE/FEBE
5=Software Ver
Loopback DTE
Causes both DTE ports to loopback toward user equipment. This allows per-
formance of a bit error rate test (BERT) between the ISU 512 and end user
equipment to verify proper cable connection, etc.
Loopback Protocol
Allows data to be looped back toward the network after passing through
BONDING protocol. See Figure 6-1 for loopback points.
