The Module Status and Configuration Menu is shown in Figure 24 on
page 52.

2. Select the line card whose information you want to change and press

Enter.

The Module Status Menu for that line card is displayed. An example of
that menu is shown in Figure 31 on page 70.

3. Select Module Status and press Enter.

The options are:

Enabled - Enables the line card. This is the default.

Disabled - Disables the line card.

4. Press Enter to change the selection.

5. Return to the Main Menu.

Enabling or

Disabling the SFP

To enable or disable the SFP (port) in a line card, perform the following
procedure:

1. From the Main Menu, select Module Status and Configuration.

The Module Status and Configuration Menu is shown in Figure 24 on
page 52.

2. Select the line card whose information you want to change and press

Enter.

The Module Status Menu for that line card is displayed. An example of
that menu is shown in Figure 31 on page 70.

3. Select Port Status and press Enter.

The options are:

Enabled - Enables the laser on the SFP transceiver. This is the default.

Disabled - Disables the laser on the SFP transceiver but does not
terminate traffic.

4. Press Enter to change the selection.

5. Return to the Main Menu.

To set up loopback on the port (SFP), perform the following procedure:

1. From the Main Menu, select Module Status and Configuration.
