Self-Diagnostics
Error Messaging/Text Messages
WXT520 sends a text message when certain type of errors occur. This
function works in all communication modes except in the SDI-12 mode.
You may disable error messaging by using the supervisor message aSU,
S=N, see
Changing the Settings (aSU) on page 125
.
Examples:
0R1!0TX,Unable to measure error
while all the wind parameters were disabled from the wind message)
1XU!0TX,Sync/address error
the correct address with ? or ?! command.
0XP!0TX,Unknown cmd error
Data messages are not in
expected format.
The communication protocol
may not be the one you want.
Check the communication
protocol of the device by using
the Vaisala Configuration Tool or
any terminal with command
aXU,M! (SDI-12)

and change it if needed. See

Some parameters are missing
from the data messages.
The formatting of the data
messages is not what you
