Sending Reports
As with all other communication configuration for report transmission,
transmission using the FTP client is configured, for each report, in the
Communications view as shown in
Figure 102 on page 230 .

The report transmission parameters are described in Table 32 on page

directory Fixed FTP server path under the
given user's home directory to which
reports will be placed.
External naming
source Optional external source for the
remote file name. This can be used if
the built-in naming convention is not
suitable Reporting can be
used to generate
file names.
Variable Variable in the external source. Usually rep.
Options/send
only when timed Do not send the report immediately
when created, but when triggered by
the File transfer timer. This timer
needs to be manually enabled in the
Timers view.
