TCP/IP-Based Services
This section describes the TCP/IP-based services used in Lizard Setup
Software.
FTP Client
The FTP client functionality enables the QML logger to send reports
and log files to an FTP server. File retrieval is currently implemented
only for the ftp command available in the QML logger command shell
accessible via a terminal connection.
A buffering mechanism is used for outgoing data, so in case of network
failure, data will be temporarily stored by the QML logger, and sent
when the communications link is restored.
General Configuration
General FTP client parameters are configured in the IP Services view
as shown in
