Repairing an NSASJ installation

The repair option checks the validity of all the binary files. Any file that has the extensions jar
or so is considered binary. The following steps describe how repair option works for a binary
file:

1.

A particular binary file validity is checked with the one available in directory.

2.

If the binary files are missing in , or the size is different, the original file from

is copied to <NSASJ_HOME>, and the existing file in is

backed up at the same location.

However, the repair option does not replace the following files, and they have to replaced
manually:

1.

JToolkit libraries, which are present in the modules/com/hp/nsk/utils folder.

2.

If T2 and T4 jars are installed, they need to be reinstalled.

NOTE:

The JDBC jars can be installed in different ways. The procedure that was followed

to install them, needs to be followed again.

3.

The repair option does not repair any configuration file.
