To run the setup script, complete the following steps:
1. Go to the directory where the setup script is located:
OSS: cd /
2. Run the setup script at the OSS prompt:
OSS : ./setup
NOTE: The setup script has to be run using the korn SHell and not bash SHell.

This script installs the NonStop(tm) Application Server for Java(tm)
Prompts show default values within square brackets (e.g. [default-value]).
You can press Enter to use the default value or enter your own value.
For example:
Enter a name for the NSASJ installation directory [nsasj]:
You can press the 'Enter' key to use the default directory or else you can
enter a specific directory like: /home/nsasjdir/nsasj and then press
the 'Enter' key.
NOTE: You can exit the setup script at any time by typing quit at the prompt. For example,
Enter the directory for NonStop(tm) Server for Java(tm) [/usr/tandem/java]: quit

The following options are displayed:
a.
Create an NSASJ installation
This option enables you to install NSASJ.
b. Remove an NSASJ configuration
This option enables you to remove an NSASJ configuration, and remove the installation
directory and files.
c. Repair an existing NSASJ installation
This option enables you to repair an NSASJ installation.
Creating an NSASJ installation
After running the setup script at the OSS prompt, you must select the Create an NSASJ
installation
option to install NSASJ.
Perform the following steps to create an NSASJ installation:
1. Run the setup script, as described in “Running the setup script” (page 33) .
2. To install NSASJ, enter 1 at the setup script prompt.
3. The following message is displayed at the terminal:
A relative path entered will be relative to /home/usr. An absolute
path too can be entered.Enter a name for the NSASJ installation
directory [nsasj]: or press Enter to use the default directory name.
NOTE: The path is relative to the user's home directory. The home directory in step 3 example
is /home/usr.
If a non existing directory name is specified, a prompt to create NSASJ installation with the
same directory name is displayed.
