Infinispan cluster for Scalability
Infinispan cluster, in an NSASJ configuration is a component that stores the state of session beans.
The NSASJ Server uses a simple TCP connection to communicate with the Infinispan cluster.
The Infinispan configuration in NSASJ ensures that the objects stored in the cluster are distributed
evenly across all the nodes of the cluster. The objects are distributed based on the hash value of
the stored object. This helps the clients to locate the exact node having the object and makes the
fetch time independent of the number of entries in the cache and number of nodes in the cluster.
If the number of instances of the cluster is increased, the entire cluster can store more state objects
and thus becomes scalable.
