The following features are common for Volumes and Summary display:
Alert Icons – These are alert indicators displaying if a disk has an alert. These are displayed
based on user alert settings, as well as default alert settings which are shipped with the product
(e.g. full or corrupt files). Users can define their own alerts or modify the existing ones. Possible
Alert Icons are:
- Critical
- Major
- Minor
- Warning
- Information
User filter – Enables user to control the scope for which content is displayed. A pop-up window
will be shown.
Alert Filter – Enables user to only display disks which have the chosen alerts on them. This is
possible only for Volumes and Summary tabs.
The following sections describe the three tabs, Utilization, Volumes and Summary in detail
4-2-2-1 Disk Utilization
NonStop Storage Analyzer’s initial display displays the Utilization Summary. It displays the physical
disks’ usage for the system. The first chart displays the total disk usage and free space in the
system. The legend for this pie chart contains free% and used%. The second chart displays
Physical disks utilization per group, the third chart displays total number of files used by each group
and both of the charts’ legends contains the name of each group.
