Enter correct Extents (0- 10000000)
Cause: Adding or editing a disk alert when Extents checkbox is checked but an invalid value is
entered for that field.
Recovery: Enter a valid Extents value (0- 10000000).
Enter correct Index (0- 255)
Cause: Adding or editing a disk/file alert when Index checkbox is checked but an invalid value is
entered for that field.
Recovery: Enter a valid Index value (0- 255).
Enter valid Security
Cause: Adding or editing a file alert when Index checkbox is checked but an invalid value is entered
for that field.
Recovery: Enter a valid security value (any 4 letter combination out of A, N, G, C, U, O, -).
Enter valid Owner in the format : OR
Cause: Adding or editing a file alert when File Ownership is checked but an invalid value is entered
for that field.
Recovery: Enter a valid owner value (group. user or groupID, userID). Maximum length is 17
characters.
Enter valid filename.
Cause: Adding or editing a file alert or adding a file exclusion alert when Filename is checked but an
invalid value is entered for that field.
Recovery: Enter a valid filename (maximum 8 character alphanumeric string).
Enter correct EOF (0-10000)
Cause: Adding or editing a file alert when Filename is checked and Notify if EOF is checked but an
invalid value is entered for that field.
Recovery: Enter a valid EOF value (0-10000) in MB.
Enter correct Increase Extents Value
Cause: Adding or editing a file alert when Filename is checked and Auto Increase Max. Extents by is
checked but an invalid value is entered for that field.
Recovery: Enter a valid value for Auto increment Max. Extents field (0- 978)
Alert Definition has been added.
Cause: Informational message that comes up after the alert definition is successfully added.
Alert Definition has been modified.
Cause: Informational message that comes up after the alert definition is successfully modified.
