There are 3 different ways to install Storage Analyzer:
o NSA Install.exe: The PC –based wizard installer for Storage Analyzer. (This is the
recommended installation process.)
o Manual Installation: (This is not a recommended procedure.)
o IPSetup.exe : The IPSetup(DSM/SCM) installer for Storage Analyzer
2-2-1 Install Basics
2-2-1-1 Overview
NonStop Storage Analyzer consists of one host component installation pack. You need to install
this host component in order to view the Storage Analyzer option within the Web ViewPoint menu.

Storage Analyzer’s host component can be installed in three ways as stated in section 2-2.

o SAGETF
o SAHRLY*
o SADLL
o SAEVTS
o SAINI
o STPSA

o INSTSA
o MAKEWSA
o LICSADLL
o SABAMIMP
o WSATMPAK
*Note: The SAHRLY file is not currently used and is a placeholder only for a future release.
