Switch in and out of Incognito mode
1. From the Chrome app, tap the Open tabs icon (at the top right of the
screen).
2. Drag from right to left to bring Incognito tabs to the front.
Drag from left to right to return to your standard browsing tabs.
Switch to another tab
1. From the Chrome app, tap the Open tabs icon (at the top right of the
screen).
2. Your open tabs are stacked vertically. Scroll up or down, then tap the tab
that you want to switch to.
You can also swipe to switch tabs. While viewing an open tab:
Swipe horizontally (left or right) across the toolbar (at the top of the
tab) to quickly switch tabs.
Close your tabs
Close a single tab: Tap the Open tabs icon then tap the X in the
upper-right corner of the tab that you want to close. You can also swipe
the tab to the left or right off of the screen to close it.
Close Incognito tabs: Tap the Open tabs icon . From the stacked
Incognito tabs view, tap the Menu icon (at the upper-right corner of
the screen), then tap Close incognito tabs.
Close all tabs: Tap the Open tabs icon , tap the Menu icon (at the
upper-right corner of the screen), then tap Close all tabs.
NOTE Closing the Chrome app (or even turning the phone off) will not close your open tabs.
Your tabs remain open until you close them.
Download files
1. Touch and hold a download link.
2. Tap Save link in the Context menu that appears.
