When the language setting for Voice Mate is not the same as the default language
setting on your phone, some commands such as launching apps may not work.
•
When entering text, you can only use letters or numbers.
• Voice Mate recognizes your speech better when you speak slowly.
Voice Command
You can use the Voice Command app to perform phone functions using
your voice.
To open the Voice Command app
From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon (in the QuickTap bar) > the
App tab (if necessary) > Tools folder > Voice Command .
Voice Search
You can also use the Voice Search app to perform phone functions using
your voice.
To open the Voice Command app
From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon (in the QuickTap bar) > the
App tab (if necessary) > Google folder > Voice Search .
Voice Recorder
The Voice Recorder app records audible files for you to use in a variety of
ways. Use them to simply remind you about something you don’t want to
forget (like a grocery list) or record sound effects that you can attach to a
message.
Record a Voice Memo
1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon (in the QuickTap bar) > the
Apps tab (if necessary) > Tools folder > Voice Recorder .
2. Tap the Record button (at the bottom center of the screen) to start
recording.
3. Speak into the microphone.
