Connected to a Wireless Capable Computer without a WLAN Access
Point/Router in the Network (Ad-hoc Mode)

This type of network does not have a central WLAN access point/router. Each wireless client communicates
directly with each other. When the Brother wireless machine (your machine) is part of this network, it receives
all scan jobs directly from the computer sending the scan data.

We do not guarantee the wireless network connection with Windows Server ® products in Ad-hoc mode. To
set up your machine in Ad-hoc mode, see Configuration in Ad-hoc Mode on page 24.
