Wiring Under the Floor
If you are routing power cables to the enclosures under a raised floor, you must provide the
appropriate power cables and equipment for installation, and a licensed electrician must route and
connect the power cables to the PDU circuit breakers. To wire each power cable to an enclosure:
1. Push out a knock-out filler in the floor of the PDU to create an opening for the cable.
2. Install Liquidite waterproof conduit under the floor from each enclosure to the PDU.
3. From the Rack PDU or Rack ATS in each enclosure, thread the appropriate power cable (for
your application) from the enclosure through the Liquidite conduit to the PDU.
4. At the PDU, route the cable through the opening you created in step 1and then through the
wireway to connect it to the upper circuit breaker panel.

A licensed electrician must route and connect the power cables for under-floor
wiring.
Warning
Make sure all wire connections and circuit breaker connections are properly
torqued.
