Unregistered Plates

In the expandable list of servers, connections to cameras, and lists in the left side of the Event
Mapping Tool you will see an item called Unregistered Plates.

Use this for mapping surveillance system events which should be triggered if XProtect Analytics
detects a vehicle with a license plate which is not on any of your positive/negative lists.

Example: A private car park uses a positive list for granting residents' vehicles access to the car
park. If a vehicle with a license plate which is not on the list approaches the car park, the analytics
solution triggers an event which subsequently lights a sign telling the driver to go to the Security
office.

Which Surveillance System Events Can I Use?

You can only map analytics detections with certain types of surveillance system events.

If connected to XProtect Professional or XProtect Enterprise surveillance systems, you

can map:

o

Events set up as event buttons on the surveillance system server

o

Events set up as generic events on the surveillance system server

Note that these events can easily be used for subsequently triggering output, etc.—this is
defined on the surveillance system server itself.

If connected to XProtect Corporate surveillance systems you can map events set up as

user-defined events on the surveillance system server. Note that these events can easily be
used for subsequently triggering output, etc.—this is defined as part of the surveillance
system's rules configuration.
