Thermometer response times are generally indicated as "50% time" (t

) and "90% time" (t

).
"50% time" refers to the time needed for a thermometer signal to achieve 50% of its end value in
the face of erratic temperature changes (this applies analogously to "90% time").

Thermometer without thermowell (TRA/TCA-S34 and -S50 with Ø 6 mm / 0.24")
