Interface Configuration
The GSP-930 supports USB, RS-232, GPIB(optional) and LAN based
LXI interfaces for remote control. This Quick Start Guide only
details how to connect to a LAN to access the LXI browser interface
for remote control and configuration. Please see the programming
manual or user manual on the accompanying User Manual CD for
further details.
Configure the LAN and LXI Interface
The GSP-930 is a class C LXI compliant instrument. The LXI
specification allows instrumentation to be configured for basic
remote control or monitoring over a LAN.
For details on the LXI specification and compliance classes, please
see the LXI website @ http://www.lxistandard.org.
Background
The LAN interface is used for remote control
over a network. The spectrum analyzer
supports DHCP connections so the instrument
can be automatically connected to an existing
network. Alternatively, network settings can
also be manually configured.
