2) The computer and Wireless Transceiver must be within
50m (indoors) or 80m (outdoors) from the AM8060.
The computer must be powered on.
3) Connect the Wireless Transceiver to the computer with
a USB cable. Place it at a high spot for best
performance. The system setup is shown in Figure4.
4) After connecting the Wireless Transceiver to the
computer, the user will be required to install USB
drivers unless the PC is running on Windows7
operating system. The detailed instructions for this are
shown in the Appendix.
5) After the installation of the USB driver the user will
need to install the free software on the CD included
with the AM8060. Insert the CD into the computer’s
CDROM drive and copy the file named
CDrN_2xAir_Reader.exe to the computer.
6) Once the file has finished copying, double-click it to
begin the installation. Follow the installation steps on
screen to complete the process. After it has finished
installing, double-click the icon “CDrN_2xAir_Reader”,
and the following screen will display:
